What really is a resume? What does it say about anyone?

It will tell you basics about skills, experience and even a little insight into a person if they share personal and professional achievements. Education and experience are important, but does it really tell what’s important? Does it tell if you they can work well in a creative environment? Do they manage stress well? Are they pro-active and tackle challenges rather than complain about them and being overtasked?

A good majority of applicants will have the skills and experience, but the intangibles are what really make an employee special. So, I will offer an insight to that assessment.

Having worked in the industry for over twenty years, the reality of the business is that changes occur, clients are challenging, technical glitches happen and a host of other things will always affect the deadline. There’s really no point in reviewing blame - just assessing processes and tweaking the flow.

Few will rival my abilities in terms of production, software applications knowledge and the ability to streamline processes. I’m blessed with a right-brain approach and a sufficient left-brain understanding to let the abstract develop in a concept.
